Memorable Quotes[]

Ms. Lips: What's wrong?

Mr. Baldwin: Whenever I try to propose, I get gas pain from the stress, but that wasn't stress this time.
(hoarse) I don't know why this is happening. Unless... I"M HAVING MY BABIES!
Mr. Baldwin: (panting) Oh boy. Oh boy.
Bea: Um, Mr. Baldwin, I don't think this is a good time to give birth.
Mr. Baldwin: (screams in pain)
Ms. Lips: Oh, okay, have any of you children ever delivered a baby before?

Bo Gregory: I've seen my chickens lay eggs once.
Guardian Cat: I know what to do.
You must remain calm and lie down.
Someone get me some towels. DO IT OR I'LL EAT YOU!
Now, do you remember the breathing techniques from your prenatal class?
Mr. Baldwin: Kind of.
Guardian Cat: Ok, now push.
Mr. Baldwin:(grunting, panting)
Guardian Cat: Again.
Mr. Baldwin: (grunting)
Guardian Cat: Excellent.
This time, push as hard as you can.
Are you ready?
Ms. Lips: You can do this, baby.
Bea: Yeah, Mr. Baldwin. You can do it.
Milo: We believe in you.
Mr. Baldwin: (hoarse voice) I'm ready. Let's do this.
Guardian Cat: PUSH!
Mr. Baldwin: (grunting, screaming)
(babies cooing)

Steve Mahalo: Yeah, babies are cool.
Steve Jackson: Yeah.
Albert Glass: How many are there?
Jumbo Shrimp: Well, the average seahorse can give birth to between 100 to 200 babies at a time. So I'd say there's a lot.
Ms. Lips: Look at them. They're so beautiful. Oh, yeah, and the answer to your question is yes. Oh, yes, I'll marry you. I've always wanted just tons of kids.
Oscar: Thanks for helping out. It was actually good you were here.
Guardian Cat: Yes, well, I didn't know it was an engagement ring. But next time you want something, just ask.
Mr. Baldwin: Milo, Bea, I want to thank you for once again interfering in my life. This time for the better.

Background Information[]

  • Mr. Baldwin's babies come out in this episode.

Production Information[]

  • This is Michael Clarke Duncan final performance due his passing on September 2012.

Errors[]

  • Jumbo is shown going with the group while staying behind with Albert.
  • Coach Salmons is shown boarding, but not in the plane nor when they first arrive on the island.
  • Nobody is shown in water suits. In all other episodes when they’re outside the tanks, they have visible water suits, except for this episode. They’re also very visibly not underwater in this episode.
  • Disney Channel inadvertently spoiled the ending of this episode by featuring a preview for the next episode, "Assignment: Babies," in the commercial break before Mr. Baldwin had actually given birth.

Continuity[]

  • In "Spoiler Alert," Randy tells Mr. Baldwin he's having "all girls," and four babies can be seen on the ultrasound screen. However, when they are born in this episode, there's presumably hundreds of them, and they are both boys and girls.
  • Milo and Bea's hatred for Attila call back to the episode "Adventures in Fish-Sitting."

Allusions[]

  • When Clamantha said "My precious," it's a reference to the movie "Lord of the Rings."
  • The Please Say You'll Stay song is a parody of the Styx song Come Sail Away.
