When the ladies picked Oscar up for his wedding with the duke, they believed Oscar was the real queen, although he wasn't. Oscar tried to tell Lady Eelbottom and the ladies that he isn't the queen, however, they don't listen, and they take him to the wedding. Lady Eelbottom thought that "the queen" was just being shy for her marriage ("Oscar Makes an Impression").
