Bea Goldfishberg | The tritagonist and the friend of Milo and Oscar. She wants to become a famous actress and is overly-dramatic about everything. Oscar has a crush on her, but she doesn't notice. |

Clamantha | A crazy clam who goes to Freshwater High. Clamantha enjoys cheerleading and hanging with her friends. She has an insane crush on Oscar and even has a shrine to him. | |
Shellsea | Bea's best friend and fashion diva in the school. She is independant and focused, unlike her friend, Bea. Shellsea is into boys, makeup, and dating. She also gives Bea advice sometimes. | |
Mr. Baldwin | Milo, Oscar, and Bea's homeroom teacher. He is a pregnant seahorse and his lectures often put himself to sleep. He seems to hate his life and job,and always looks at the boring side of everything. | |
Jocktopus Ludwig Vandenbush | The main antagonist and the school bully. He's an octopus who loves beating up other people. Jocktopus plays in the football team, has his own gang to help him with his bullying, and has a girlfriend named Piranhica. | |
Coach Salmons | Freshwater High's enthusiastic P.E teacher and health instructor. Coach Salmons is a very happy and energetic coach who enjoys singing and comforting his students. | |
Jumbo Shrimp | As a nerd in school, Jumbo keeps interesting stuff in his orange pouch, ready to amaze people at any time, and is best friends with Albert Glass. Jumbo once helped Milo become big by showing him the big tank. | |
Principal Stickler | The principal of Freshwater High. Principal Stickler is a paranoid, clean-freak, sea urchin authorian who shouts orders to his assistant, Nurse Fishington. | |
Koi | One of the bigger fish in Freshwater High. Koi is one of Bea's friend and is said to have a huge heart. Due to her strength and height, Koi is in the schools basketball team. | |
Mr. Mussels | The drama teacher of Freshwater High. Mr. Mussels has a extra-loud voice, which accidently scares many people. He enjoys motivating his students. | |
Esmargot | One of Bea's friends. Esmargot is a strange, slimy, sticky, green sea slug who leaves off slime wherever she walks. She feels sick all the time and does not really have a bright spot, but is very friendly. | |
Finberley | A little fish with pigtails and braces in Freshwater High. Finberley is one of Bea's friends and has a huge crush on Milo. She is a big fan of football, and is decribed as crazy and hyper, but is also kind. | |
Randy Pincherson | A selfish crab who attends Freshwater. He is really rich and has a crush on Bea, which angers Oscar. He also seems to treathen people to do what he says. | |
Bo Gregory | A student who has been recognized for his farms, tractors, and trucks. He talks in a slow voice, so he doesn't seem that bright. He has a pet cow named Bessie. | |
Piranhica | Jocktopuses cruel girlfriend and the other antagonist. Piranhica loves intimidatng and provoking other people. She is even almost as mean as Jocktopus. |

Dr. Frog | Freshwater High's journalism teacher. He now teaches woodshop because everyone hated his journalism course. His only student is Bea and gives her assignments. | |
Chief | The boss at the Hokey Poke. He once hired Milo as the cashier, and he is shown to have been in many dangerous adventures, such as capturing "Big Blue". | |
Bassy | The waitress in the Hokey Poke. She goes around, giving everyone their orders. Oscar once tells her he likes her hairstlye, but Bassie said it was a growth. | |
Razor V. Doom | The dark leader of the Goth Fish group. He once got Oscar as their new member, making his name to Bubblethorn, but he eventually decides to stay with his friends. | |
Pass, Punt, and Fumble | Jocktopuses main guards and henchmens. They are football playersa and mostly spend their time helping Jocktopus with his bullying or threatning other students. | |
Mrs. Goldfishberg | Bea's overprotective mother. She treats Bea like a baby throughout the series, but is friendly and kind-hearted. She once chaperoned for the school dance. | |
Norman Goldfishberg | Bea's father. Like the mother, he embarresses Bea a lot. He got Bea's mom to marry him by his dance moves. He once chaperoned for the school dance. | |
Dan and Ann Covie | The two smallest and most childish fish in the school. Dan and his sister Ann have lots of school spirit and are very intelligent. | |
Student Council | Three lobsters who organize dances and fundraisers. They are sophistiated and intelligent. All of their voices sound the same and they look identical. | |
Bud | The real owner of Buds Pet Shop. Bud is a huge guy (at least to the fish). He mostly spends his time cleaning the floor or doing awkward stuff. | |
Wilford | A giant cat that roams around the pet store, hoping that a fish could come out. Wilford once chases Milo, Bea, and Oscar through the store. |
