Philip Vose, born November 19th, 1985, is an art director, background painter, and location designer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a relative newcomer to the animation industry, his work is just beginning.
Education[]
Born in Valencia, California, Vose graduated from the California Institute for the Arts with a Bachelor's degree in fine arts, more specifically character animation.
Career[]
Vose is credited for being a location designer and background painter on Gravity Falls, and an art director for Pickle and Peanut. Concerning his involvement with Fish Hooks, Vose designed over one hundred backgrounds between 2010 and January 2011 under the supervision of Lynne Naylor.
